Northeast Ohio Photoshoot Location Guide
Thank you so much for choosing me as your Northeast Ohio photographer—I’m so excited to work with you!
A Few Quick Notes
Please bring an extra pair of shoes, as many locations can be muddy or uneven.
I provide a pop-up changing tent for 2-3 hour sessions if needed.
15-Minute Mini Session Locations
Mill Stream Run Reservation, Strongsville
This location offers great photo opportunities next to a stream, along with open fields and some wooded areas. There is a red barn and log cabin, lots of parking for photos with a vehicle, and the area is pet friendly.
Brecksville Reservation, Brecksville
Location 1 includes a black metal bridge, wooded areas, medium prairie grass, a creek and a willow tree. Parking is limited at this location so arrive early!
Location 2 features a white metal bridge, tall prairie grass, a quarry, a stone stairway, and a little yellow train depot. (The stone stairway down to the quarry is very steep so I don’t recommend it for family photographs unless kids are older).
Both locations are a short drive apart.
Coe Lake, Berea
This location features lake views, trees, and stone bridges, along with a lakeside gazebo and pergola. There are open green spaces, as well as restrooms, parking, and it is pet friendly.

Carolyn Ludwig Mugrage Park, Medina
This park includes a lake, wooded areas, and trails. Restrooms and parking are available, and it is pet friendly.
Medina Public Square Historic District, Medina
This location features a gazebo and historic buildings in a walkable setting. It is also pet friendly.
Grand Pacific Junction, Olmsted Falls
This is a Victorian-style village with charming historic architecture, offering a unique backdrop for photos.
Huntington Beach, Bay Village
This location provides a Lake Erie shoreline with sandy beach views and beautiful sunsets. Restrooms are available.
Miller Nature Preserve, Avon
This preserve includes 145 acres of wooded areas and gardens, along with an indoor conservatory and a seasonal butterfly house. A reservation and photography fee are required for certain areas.
Gardenview Horticultural Park, Strongsville
This is a 16-acre garden filled with flowers. Restrooms are available, though parking is limited. A reservation and photography fee are required.
Seasonal Locations
Brookside Reservation, Cleveland
A beautiful grove of blooming cherry trees. Available sometime within the first few weeks of April though the bloom only lasts 7 days!
Medina Sunflower Farm, Wadsworth
Open from mid-August through mid-September and offers beautiful sunflower fields. An admission fee is required.
Maria’s Field of Hope, Avon
This location is also open from mid-August through mid-September and features stunning sunflower fields. A photography fee is required.
